Spain reach the final of the League of Nations, where they will meet with the Croats

The Spanish national team reached the final of the League of Nations for the second time in a row. And again they beat the Italians on their way. Moreover, with the same score as two years ago – 2:1.

The account was opened already in the third minute, when Donnarumma and Bonucci made a gross mistake. The first one gave a pass to the fight, the second lost this fight, as a result of which Pino went one on one and sent the ball into the goal.

However, the Italians bounced back quite quickly. In the th minute, Zaniolo tried to send the ball into the center of the penalty area, but his opponent intervened in his plans, interrupting the pass with his hand . The penalty kick was confidently converted by Immobile – 1:1.

Interestingly, before the break, the game advantage was on the side of the Italians, who sent the ball into the opponent’s goal for the second time. However, in this attack, Frattesi was offside, and the goal was not counted.

The picture changed in the second half. Now the game was played by the Spaniards, more than once threatening the gates of Donnarumma. True, towards the end of regular time, it began to seem that the opponents would continue their duel in extra time with pleasure. But on the 68 minute, Joselu managed to avoid offside and sent the ball into the net in touch. This goal brought Spain victory and a ticket to the final of the League of Nations, where the team of Luis De la Fuente will meet with the Croats.
