Head coach Rukha Vitaly Ponomarev assessed the level of his team after the winter training camp in Slovenia.
We would like to add that the Lviv club yesterday completed preparations for the resumption of the UPL, having won Triglav in the final match with a score of 4:0.
“The team in Slovenia had all the conditions for high-quality work at the winter training camp and Rukh went through this period well and prepared for the second part of the Ukrainian championship. Excellent living conditions and fields, good sparring partners – I am pleased with the way Rukh spent the winter training.
We have become a more complete team. It is a pity that there were injuries at this training camp, in particular Marco Sapuga was seriously injured, some players suffered micro-damages. However, this is part of the work process without which it is impossible to go through the training camp.
Now Rukh is ready in all aspects. But all our future opponents also prepared during the winter training camp and the upcoming “The matches will demonstrate how well we have done. At the same time, I am convinced that we have done a good job of preparing,” the coach said.
Next week, Vitaly Ponomarev’s team will play their first official match – on Sunday, 25 February, in 18: 00 the starting whistle will sound in the match with Polesie.
